Box Calls

Our one-sided box calls are glued up from several different domestic and exotic woods. The glued-up box is stronger and much more stable than a one-piece box. A one-sided box is very easy to run and extremely more quiet to carry in the woods since the lid is held tight to the side when not in use. A double-sided box is constantly in contact with at least one sound board and very prone to making inadvertent noise. Our boxes feature a hand cut beaded design on the sides and the lid. These are not only decorative but serve to allow the necessary vibration to produce the desired sound. Our lids and bottoms are inlayed with a contrasting wood.
