This is a hand turned beautiful piece of Amazon Rosewood. Amazon Rosewood is native to Brazil, Venezuela, and Bolivia. It is a dense wood, so it is perfect for pool cues, musical instruments, knife handles, and other small woodworking projects. This species is rare, so supplies are typically limited. It has a Janka Hardness rating of 1320 and makes a great striker that sounds great on all surfaces.
