Tulipwood Turkey Call Striker

This is a custom turned striker from Brazilian Tulipwood. Tulipwood is an exotic wood native to the tropical region of South America, mainly Brazil. It is hardened heavy wood, with a rather fine texture and has a Janka Hardness rating of 2560. These work on any surface. In the top three strikers available, in my opinion. 

Brazilian Tulipwood, like all Rosewoods , was recently added to the CITES list level two. This places restrictions on it's import and export. No new Tulipwood is allowed to be imported therefore the only available is what was already in country before restrictions were placed on it. It has become very hard to find and has quadrupled in price in the last year. I have not been able to find any for sale in over a year.

Cannot ship out of the United States due to containing a restricted wood which is internationally restricted to sell across a border.
